VEGAN THINGS HAPPENING IN CALGARY OCT-NOV 2019

Here’s an update on vegan restaurants and events happening in Calgary from now until November:

The Allium is Calgary’s newest plant-based restaurant to open up. It has a unique ownership structure where each person that works there is an owner. Have you tried it yet?

From the owners of the pizza shop, Baked 3.14, Calgary now has an all-vegan deli! Located in Killarney, you can find things like vegan bacon, racks of “ribs” and yummy goods from other local retailers. Run, don’t walk.

These signs were spotted along 17th Avenue which means there’s a new restaurant opening…any guesses at what it could be?!

Made by Marcus has a new vegan flavour: Peanut. Butter. Cup. I'm not drooling, you’re drooling.

The third annual vegan Thanksgiving dinner is happening again at Ceilis Downtown. Update: sold out!

November 1st is World Vegan Day! How are you going to celebrate?!

Summer might be over but the markets aren’t! The Little Vegan Market is happening over two weekends this year. Visit the Marda Loop Communities Association on November 2nd and 9th from 11am-4pm.

VegFest Calgary is hosting their very first Carols & Cocktails Holiday Gala on November 23rd. This is a fundraiser event and tickets are available here: https://vegfestcalgary.com/get-holiday-gala-tickets
