BIPOC-OWNED BUSINESSES TO SUPPORT IN CALGARY
With the inception of the Black Lives Matter movement, I committed to using my platforms to share more information about how to support this cause and also to share more about other social justice issues while creating change in my day to day life.
Making change starts in our community so I’ve created a list of BIPOC-owned businesses to support in Calgary.
If you don’t know, BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour. I wanted to be inclusive of many groups who face racism and challenges because of their skin colour or culture. I’ve started this list with primarily Black-owned businesses but will continue to update the list weekly. If you have any businesses that you would like to add to the list please leave a comment below, I want this to be a resource that we can continue to use.
