MARCH FAVOURITES (VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE)

I've rounded up some of the things I've been loving in March and just a warning, there are A LOT of beauty products. I picked up quite a few of these things in the states but I tried to find links to purchase the items even if you don't live there. Enjoy!

BEAUTY:

SKYN ICELAND FACE-LIFT-IN-A-BAG

When I saw this at the store I thought it was so funny to have a "face-lift-in-a-bag". But if you saw last months favourites I had something similar and I really love these patch-type masks. The under eye patches are especially good for my puffy eyes and my skin was definitely plumper and firmer looking after this. I feel like it would have even more dramatic results if you have more tired and wrinkled skin. Buy them here

LUSH CUP O' COFFEE MASK

Lush Cosmetics just opened a brand new and beautiful flagship store in Calgary. I was lucky enough to be invited to their media event (watch the vlog) where we left with the Cup O' Coffee mask. It has a kaolin clay base to pull out impurities and also ground up coffee in it which makes it smell yummy and also exfoliates when you rub off the mask so your skin is left feeling so smooth. It's important to exfoliate at least a couple of times a week!

BOTANICS MICELLAR CLEANSING SOLUTION

After I cleanse my face I've been following with this micellar cleanser to help get the rest of my makeup off. I put a little bit on a cotton pad and wipe it over my entire face and eyelids. It feels good on my skin and gets the rest of the dirt off. I had never heard of this brand before but it's from the UK and it's vegan and cruelty-free.

ESSENTIALS BY NATURE FACIAL TONER

After the micellar cleansing solution I spray my face with this toner by Essentials By Nature. It has aloe vera, witch hazel, and rose, which is super calming for my crazy skin. It calms down my redness and puffiness and moisturizes and balances my ph at the same time.

IT COSMETICS CC CREAM

This is by far my favourite thing that I purchased last month. I'm trying to get rid of the hyper-pigmentation on my skin (acne scars) and I think that this has been helping a lot. The number one rule to not make dark spots darker is to wear sunscreen so the reason I really wanted this product was for the high SPF. I hate putting sunscreen on under my makeup and the SPF 15 in my foundation is not enough to protect my skin. So either the SPF 50 or the benefits from the CC cream has been working some serious magic on my face. It has medium coverage and is creamier than a foundation. It is very dewy and illuminating so you are GLOWING. I would probably not recommend this for oily skin... It is only sold in the states but I think this would be a good place to buy it from if you live in Canada.

PLUME EYELASH AND BROW SERUM

I've been wearing a lot of strip lashes lately and find my actual eyelashes have been suffering. (Probably because I don't take the strip lashes off properly). They are looking thin and short so I've been trying this all natural serum by Plume. It was created in Calgary and I've only been using it a couple of weeks but have noticed my lashes getting a bit thicker. I'll update with a before and after photo when I have used it more.

You can use the code "lifewithzandra" to get 35% off the serum

PACIFICA UNDERARM DEODORANT WIPES

I've been trying to detox my underarms and wear less anti-perspirant and I have been loving these Pacifica underarm wipes. I don't like layering deodorant on top of my deodorant so this is nice and refreshing to use to wipe off whatever was there. It works pretty well and the smell is light and coconut-y.

ARTIS LINEAR 3 BRUSH

I've being seeing these Artis brushes everywhere and wanted to try them. I got this one specifically for sculpting my nose but I've also been using it on my eyelids. Apparently, you can use it for a lot more things but I haven't tried yet. It is very good quality, vegan, and have a few more of their brushes on my wish list.

RANDOM:

THEO ALMOND COCONUT CHOCOLATE

I'm going to be honest with you guys (like I always am), I wanted this chocolate bar because the wrapping was so pretty! I was pleasantly surprised that the texture of the chocolate was so smooth and it is the perfect amount of dark chocolate. The bits of almond and coconut made it even more delicious.

SUDIO REGENT HEADPHONES

I've been wearing Beats Wireless headphones for a while but stopped because they were so heavy and I couldn't wear earrings because the headphones pushed them into my head. So when I found these headphones by Sudio I was so excited. They are wireless, light, I can wear earrings with them, they have a built-in microphone AND you can customize the caps and OF COURSE I had to get the marble caps. I'm in love. They look like they are made out of leather but they guaranteed me that they are 100% vegan!

You can use code "lifewithzandra" to get 15% off at Sudio Sweden.
